Interview With Laced

Orange County band  ‘Laced ‘ dominated Gibronis pizza in San Clemente Dec 5 2025. Featuring bands “Cant Commit” and  ‘Robber ‘, the show showed the true beauty of the beach cities modern punk scene. 

Max (WGM)- “You guys have been around since 2023, and we are going into 2026. Tell me a little bit about what the last few years have had in store for you?”

Aiden (Bass)- “Year one of laced, I wasn't there but I've seen them from the start. I actually joined this band after a “Big Ass Truck” show. We didn't see the show. We completely missed it. We were a day late.The three  years summarized, it's been a journey, it's been a ride, a lot of ups and downs but you know that's how bands go. Steady pace.”

Max- “You mentioned “Big Ass Truck”. We actually interviewed them in San Bernardino at a crazy house show. It was so packed that our cameras fogged up and all the footage was unusable.”

Ayden- “Where would we be without Big Ass Truck?”

Max- “You guys bring everything to the table and leave everything on the stage every time. Where does that come from?”

Aiden (Vocals)- “Being on stage is like the only time I feel like, really really confident. It's where I belong. So im going to milk the fuck out of it.”

Vallon (Drummer) - “Everyone in the band just loves it. I fucking love what I do. I love playing drums. I get up on stage and you almost black out. You come off stage an youre like, “Fuck, was that good? Was that bad?”

Max- “What's something that's misunderstood about our band or the scene that you guys play in.”

Ayden- “I think it's 50/50. It's a whole lot of you either like us, or you hate us, and think we're a bunch of posers. But that doesn't matter. We play punk.”

Max- “What do you guys think about the Inland Empire?”

Ayden- “I love the I.E. It's a bunch of cool, very carefully crafted individuals. I've played a good couple shows and every time it's been very fun. I think the I.E. is very awesome.” 

Aiden- “I think there’s a lot of talent out there. Shoutout “Cotton Lens”, shout out “Car Failure.”

Vallon. “One time we were driving up there and we (Ayden) both had to piss so bad and there was nowhere to pullover and nowhere to go. It fucking sucked. But then we peed and it was good. We persevered.”

Max- “Whats coming out next? What can we expect from Laced?”

Vallon (screaming)- “BUY MY ALBUM!”

Aiden- “We're gonna go to 8 track studios. If you need to record, go to them. They did our last album and he's 100% going to do our new shit.”

Ayden- “There's stuff coming eventually. Slowly. It's  a process. You've got to be patient. We'll release some stuff sooner or later. Probably an album because EP’s are lame and singles are boring.”
